Bios
Tenley Hill is a wide receiver, middle linebacker and team captain for UCLA Club Flag Football, a program she founded as a freshman in 2025. She led the team to an 11–5 inaugural season and serves on the Advisory Board of the NIRSA Club Flag Football League, where UCLA is a founding member. She is a 2025 USA Football Select Bowl division champion.
Tenley Hill arrived at UCLA in 2025 wanting to play flag football and found there was no team, so she built one in a single quarter. She put together a board, prepared a budget and fundraising plan, recruited a coach and pushed the club through the approval process. The program's first game was a 7–0 shutout of USC, and the team finished its inaugural season 11–5 on a nine-game winning streak, with Tenley starting at both wide receiver and middle linebacker and setting a UCLA season record with 12 interceptions.
Before UCLA, she was a four-sport varsity athlete at San Clemente High School, an All-CIF honoree and the school's 2025 Athlete of the Year. She won her division at the 2025 USA Football Select Bowl and returned to play in 2026, and her program received a $10,000 LA Chargers Impact Fund grant in April 2026.
Now a sophomore Communications major, Tenley serves on the Advisory Board of the NIRSA Club Flag Football League, the first national collegiate women's club flag league, developed in partnership with the NFL. UCLA is a founding member team, and opens league play in January 2027 in Las Vegas. She has also written about flag football and NIL for the Daily Bruin.
